BLOG POST 27 / FARM TO TABLE: A TASTE OF OUR NEXT DINNER PARTY!
We're bursting with excitement about our next dinner party! Which is why it's such a joy to write this blog post and give you the first peek at what we're planning.
Picking a theme for each dinner party is always tricky -- there are so many great things about the Central Valley that we want to explore and share with our readers. Plus, it has to be something we can build an entire feature around. So, there's a lot to consider. The one thing we kept coming back to as we were brainstorming ideas for 2018 was agriculture. It's just so fundamental to our community's identity. So we thought we'd gather some local folks from both sides of the table (those who grow the food and those who cook with it) for a fresh discussion of fresh food.
Expanding upon our first event ("Dreamers Who Dine" / Fall 2017), our upcoming dinner party and feature will incorporate more of the elements we've always wanted to bring into the magazine: fashion, recipes, essays, etc. As well as new contributors and, drum roll, new guests!
